All the vendor spots available for authors of English and languages other than French are now taken.
The registration for French authors will start next Saturday, April 2, 2016.
We will also begin shortly to invite publishers to participate in Prose in the Park, giving preference to publishers who attended last year's festival and book fair. If you feel that your publishers should attend to represent your books, please ask them to contact us at email@example.com. Space is limited.
We do hope that you will come to Prose in the Park anyway. There are some great panelists and it is fun event.
Chair, Prose in the Park Organizing Committee
Registration for authors/vendors who write in English (or any other language except French) is open on Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 10 am onwards (registration will not be accepted before this time). Please note that an author/vendor is an author who wants to sell his/her own books at the fair. The fair is not open to vendors of other products. Registration for francophone authors/vendors will open on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 10 am.
L'Information qui suit sera publiée plus tard en français sur une page dédiée à l'inscription des exposants francophones.
Registration for trade publishers, small presses, writers' collectives, bookstores and others will be announced later. (preference will be given to those in these categories who participated last year).
This your chance to make Prose in the Park 2016 a resounding success through a small or large contribution to our Indigegogo crowd-funding campaign. We are a grassroots festival and book fair, which is made possible by the tremendous hard work and dedication of our volunteers and the generous in-kind contributions of material, chairs, tables, sound equipment and much more. But there are expenses that cannot be covered by in-kind contributions, so here is your opportunity to contribute a few dollars to make Prose in the Park not only the most beloved open-air literary event in Ottawa, but a sustainable annual happening for the years to come.
